The Albina Hotel is a recent construction and was founded in 2004. With a total surface area of nearly 1,900 sq.m, and a surrounding land of 30,000 sq.m. - 18,000 sq. m. of which is suitable for new construction - it is possible to expand upon the existing structure or to build the equivalent of ten other hotels of the same volume.
The Hotel is surrounded by nature and located only 10 min from the center of Braila, and 200 km from the airport in Bucharest. It is very visible and immediately accessible from E584 which connects Romania to Ukraine and Russia. It is also close to the new Braila Bridge on the Danube river that is set to be completed in 2022.
On the first floor of the Hotel there is a large restaurant, a cafe, and several private event spaces, each of which open up onto a large veranda that overlooks the surrounding nature. Each of these private event spaces has enough room to accommodate large gatherings. An ample parking lot for all guests (and events) is located in front of the Hotel.
The 2nd and 3rd floors host 27 double guest rooms, some with room enough to add a third bed.
POSSIBLE DEVELOPMENTS
- CONSTRUCTION
-
The Albina Hotel is the hotel with the largest amount of open land - on which one can build - between Braila and Galati. This allows for further development according to different needs.
- TOURISM
-
The Hotel is close to the Danube River and its large Delta: a beautiful area which also happens to be a UNESCO World Heritage site. A characteristic and ancient group of fishermen is the only population that lives in the protected area. Tours on the Danube Delta leave from Braila. The Hotel is also surrounded by lakes and natural parks such as the National Park Small Wetland: 21,000 hectares with an incredibly well preserved wilderness.
In the nearby Carpathian Mountains it is also possible to visit local villages where time has stood still for centuries.
The wilderness of this area is characterized by a wide biodiversity that includes wild deer, boar, bears, and a variety of rare bird species including the Dalmatian Pelican, the Mute Swan, the Red-Breasted Goose and many others. This region is particularly attractive to people interested in bird watching, hunting, and fishing.
- WELLNESS CENTER
-
Only 4 km away from the Hotel Albina there is the Lacu Sarat Resort (Lake Sarat Resort) . The thermal water and mud of this lake attracts Romanians and foreigners alike because of its well documented, therapeutic benefits. The resort offers thermal treatments to help alleviate rheumatism, inflammation, and various other stress related health problems.
A recent geological survey suggests that there is the possibility to source this same thermal water (with the same therapeutic qualities as Lacu Sarat) on the grounds of the Hotel.
The proximity to the Lacu Sarat makes the Hotel Albina particularly well suited to host a Wellness Center, Spa, Senior Citizen Housing, Sport Center, Amusement Park, for which there is a high demand in the area.
