Close to the estates listed and in particular to the Hotel there is Lacu Sarat, a charming seaside resort, located in Campia Brailei, on the board of the city of Braila. It is well located, surrounded by a vast forest that mitigates the weather and make is an ideal location for resting. The lake water is extremely saline and its depth goes from 0.6 to 1.80 m. The bottom of the lake is covered by a therapeutical mud, rich in minerals. The lake has been visited for the last 150 years, and it is currently known internationally hosting every year a large number of Rumanians and tourists looking for treatments. Its sapropelic mud and saline water, have been proven to have effectively benefit those patients treated with them.
