The Maxineni Fish Farm is the biggest Fish Farm of Romania, covering almost 2,000 hectares, which could be employed for fish farming and for agricultural use, being that the land is particularly fertile. The presence of water in the ponds, which in many cases are as big as lakes, can host a large variety of fishes, and attracts many different species of water birds. This could potentially attract the interest of nature lovers and encourage activities such as birdwatching, hunting and fishing.
